How it works

You simply add credit to your account and when you would like to make a call you dial a special access code, which will connect you directly to first:telecom. You can then make your call using our special low cost international call rates.

  • Works in conjunction with all other providers
  • Helps to keep calls seperate from other users

To make a call

  • Dial the first:telecom access code (see below)
  • Enter your account number and PIN when prompted (you will receive this when you register with us)
  • When you hear a dial tone enter the number you wish to call in full
  • Now simply wait to be connected, do not be tempted to press the call button

To make a top up

There are three simple ways to make top ups -

Auto-top up:
Each time your call credit falls to £5.00, we can automatically request your chosen top up amount from a registered debit or credit card.

24-7 top up:
Register your debit or credit card, then dial ** from your account. Follow the prompts to make a top up of any amount to your account - available day or night.

Through customer service:
A representative can make a top up for you from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturday & Sunday. The minimum amount via customer service is £20.00 (excluding VAT).

Note: There is an additional access charge of 15p per minute on calls made from payphones (imposed by the payphone operator). If calling from a mobile, the access code will be treated as a normal UK call by your mobile provider - so make the most of any free minutes you receive.
